Quizzo Bowl X

Tanya and I finally got to participate in the gradeur that is Quizzo Bowl. I had planned to go to Quizzo Bowl 7 years ago after hearing about QB 6 in the City Paper. I had only heard of Johnny Goodtimes probably only a year when I found out through that article he was the host. It was absolutely a ball. The musix was good, the food was good and we got matched up with a great team. The questions were sea, water or nautical based, not really pointing to me or Tanyers strengths. But we helped out a little. Can't wait for next year.

My Blob blogger app is back up and running!!!

I can't believe it. I had almost given up hope and contemplated going to the dark side and getting an iPhone. I tweeted the developer Anand and he provided me the next, and yet unreleased version. So I unwittingly became a beta tester and at first this thing did not work. I even deleted the old one. Nothing. Not sure when or why it did start working...well until yesterday when I half-heartedly tried to post. I love surprises.

Fall fun

I guess it shouldn't have surprised me when Seba flipped out at the sight of some leaf piles I raked up on Saturday. But, it did and ...whoa, I just had a deja vu-ish experience just now while writing this. Like I read and/or wrote this before. Freaky. Needless to say, it was a great weekend and the warm weather in mid-November was a nice touch too.

2013 Bamba's Extreme Bocce Bash

The thing was a hit and a surprising good time! We only had time for the Singles round due to an unusually late start, due to the good time and gorgeous weather. It was after 3pm when we got moving and then the new rules sort of back fired. Oh well you live and you learn. Not sure if bocce will return next year or not. I've been wanting to make it something else for about 3 or 4 years now. We'll see...

2nd St Festival in NoLibs

Well once we finally got there we had a nice time meeting up with Stoy and Sandahl. The weather was perfect and tgw food along the way was great. But I missed out on the roasted corn.

Sebastian is 2 Years Old today and this is remarkable to me

It is hard to believe my son has been on this Earth for two wonderful years. To me this is a considerable amount of time. In the past, say before I was married, this kind of time would pass by similarly, but now I see a difference. His steady and sometimes unexpectedly advanced growth somehow adds more value to the days, weeks and months. In fact it's interesting how we used to describe the length of his life first in days then weeks and then months. I guess now the year and half years begin. Can't wait...

Day in Manayunk

Sebastian, Isabel, Tanya and I spent the afternoon at the 2013 Manayunk Arts Festival. We tried some cheese curds from the award winning “Cow and the Curd”, walked, strolled, played cornhole and enjoyed the hot weather. Oh and Sebastian slept thru most of it but got in his 'hi' barrage towards the end.
